DEPARTMENT OF COMPUTER SCIENCE

Computer science is the scientific and practical approach to computation and its applications. The Department of Computer science was established in the year 1998 with Computer Science being offered as a complementary subject of the B.Sc Mathematics course. The Department now offers complementary and vocational options for courses offered in the college such as B.Sc Mathematics, B.Sc Physics, and B.A Malayalam. The department promotes a student-centered approach for teaching through seminars, presentations, project work, assignments and ICT supported learning methods. IT oriented services to all in-house activities of the college.

The department has achieved good academic excellence throughout these years. The department regularly conducts Seminars and Invited Talks in Computer Science and related latest technologies by eminent resource persons which provides a platform for the students to get an insight of the subject besides the prescribed curriculum and to expose them to experts in the world of Computer science.
